Short testimonials are everywhere: landing page hero sections, Facebook ads, product cards, email footers.
But "Great product!" isn't a testimonial. It's a waste of social proof real estate.
Short testimonials need to pack a punch. In 1-2 sentences, they should establish credibility, communicate value, and make prospects want more.
Here are examples that do exactly that.
What Makes a Short Testimonial Effective?
1. Specificity Over Generality
❌ "Really helped my business"
✅ "Added $12K to monthly revenue"
2. Transformation Over Feature
❌ "Great dashboard"
✅ "Finally understand my numbers"
3. Emotion Over Logic
❌ "Good value for money"
✅ "Should have switched years ago"
4. Credibility Markers
Name + role + company = believable
Anonymous = skeptical
